Herne Hill South London GP was amazing! Watching track cycling at the velodrome is probably the best experience you can get as a spectator.

Took the camera as usual and got some amazing pics. Instagram for them (or my website for all of them).

Was tough but here are my favourite 4…

Went to a bike race for the first time in a while!

Was really good fun and also got some really good pics which is always a bonus.

My Velogames team for the Vuelta...

All in on Visma and Ineos...

Jonas will win easily, Jorg should be a podium - top 5 at worst candidate (and is way too cheap).

Ciccone, Bernal and Landa are wildcards but should be decent GC and stage results.

Visma breaks + assist points (hopefully)

Obviously 31.9% could potentially say the same thing but lost out of potentially winning - but that's part of the fun.

Would have swapped out ELB (0 points) and Le Net (122) for Le Court (912) and Labous (531) which is 1331 point net loss... or in other words almost 400 points over 1st place. :(

44th overall! I suspect I might also go up even more once the overall standings is added.

1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th and 9th on GC.

2nd, 3rd, 4th and 9th on Points.

1st, 2nd and 9th on KOM too.

Last minute team change due to Reusser illness (hopefully it's a mistake to remove her).

The Velogames team for TDFF…

6 GC candidates… expecting all 6 to be in the top 10 GC. Vollering is too expensive with a lot of podium candidates that you want as many as possible…

Le Net for Vollering assist points 👀
Koerner and Valliefor UNO-X / EF assist points while being having sneaky good 👀

The moment I've been waiting for!

109th overall too!

Tomorrow, Stage 20 and 21 will be the big days in terms of make or break. Fred Wright, Lewis Askey, Harry Sweeny and Bini in the break tomorrow would be ideal.

2nd Rest Day Recap: 200th overall!

1st (Pog), 2nd (Jonas), 4th (Onley), 7th (Kevin will be 5th after next stage), 10th (Healy) and 12th (Bini) riders all in my team!

I underestimated how hard the versatile sprints would be with Wright and Askey not having any chances.

3D chess is a real thing… it’s wild. I’ve never played it as struggle with chess enough.

When jokes turn to reality (not quite but I got him him going in the break correctly)
July 13, 2025 at 9:16 PM
I cost myself a total of 614 points from last minute changes... 494 (Gigante) and 120 (Josie Nelson) after I backed out of them for Cadzow and Mia Griffin (who won the bunch sprint in G2 the other day).

Would have been 5th going into final day! Happy with my picks though for 5mins of thought.

Biggest difference maker will be Roglic but not sure he makes the whole TdF + uncertainty after Giro.

If he’s in peak form, he will be the Velogames MVP alongside Pog…

Stage 15 and Stage 20 are the 2 breakaway sprinter days.

Maybe Jasper can do them, would be fun to see him try to survive the breakaway in both.

I’m just not certain he survives them myself. The rest are Jasper days for sure unless something goes crazy on the climbs.

I think he’s going to be one of the meta picks…

This is my best guess at being boring…

GC Mads is real. Dropped GC Wout too!

We are so ready!

I hope he goes all in but we will see… Carapaz certainly will.

GC Wout has won 2 Tour of Britains and 1 Tour of Denmark!

He's no GC Mads (2x Tour de La Provence, 2x Tour of Denmark, Étoile de Bessèges, Deutschland Tour, Tour du Poitou-Charentes), but he can get there.

(Side Note: Tour of Denmark list of winners is insane, it's like the who's who of cycling)
