You know what CycKath2, we will go on 40 minute drive to that out of the way model train shop you like, even just to browse.. Anyway, in totally unrelated news I have secured the last BattleTech Mercs IS ForcePack I had to skimp on, and the List as far as CGL plastics is one step closer to finished.

Aetherworks finally got around to packing my BattleTech Mercenaries Pledge and just waiting on AusPost. Guess Alfred knocked things about a bit more than I assumed, hopefully they'll shorten it a tad given I'm not that far from the CBD really...

And unboxing, cause no idea when Aetherworks will actully deliver my Mercs Kickstarter, results in one fairly common and one unique pilot/'Mech. Amused by glue failing on one of the Thunderbird minis, Enyo barrel bend and the yellowing the clear mini holders.

Another Bookfest in a town I rarely visit nowadays but no BattleTech books, am so disappointed... until I decided to visit a game shop I knew of but never expected I'd ever visit who just happened to have these sitting next to CGL ForcePacks...

That said, these three books helped me make the jump from puttering around with the Crescent Hawk games and MechWarrior 1 into tabletop. Long gone independent bookshop had BattleTech and Shadowrun novels and showed me catalog of stuff they could order that included game titles including this thing..

Don't know what is up with SE QLD, since the 90s the frequency of books from that trilogy at Lifelines across the region being the only BattleTech novel I find. Did a stock buyer at QBD and Angus & Robinson secure a large quantity of them but no other BattleTech novels back in the day?

I really need to do a CGL "Classics" version of this guy. I really need to do a CGL "Classics" version of this piece from Falcon Guard which helped cement my love for him. Hopefully sooner than it took me to realise Earl Geier basically copied the TRO2750 image and bent the left leg up at the knee.

Getting more into the swing of things here so I'll point out my profile image is not me - its a cropped version of an old early 2000's image of Rey from Mospeada I drew from the era of robotech dot com prior to wife and kids - Its compactness also resulted in its use as a forum icon.
