Joking aside, one of the things that has bugged me the most about boomers is when I tell them how old I am, almost invariably they say “oh, you’re just a kid!”

Dude, I’m 51. I am not a kid and I haven’t been for 30 years. You’re just old, accept it.

I always thought that they held onto power because they couldn’t see us. “Huh, weird, there’s no one who can take over so I can retire! Guess I’ll have to keep doing it.”
