I loved Turbo Pascal. I wrote some serious programs at work using it. One was a powder mixing simulation and another was a simple CAD/CAM program for editing magnet assemblies. A FORTRAN program was then invoked to compute the magnetic fields. Pretty cool for the time!

His first term cabinet didn't agree with everything he said. He fixed that in his second term. As far as authoritarianism, nobody has to teach him that.

It's all moot. Putin can't back out now for a number of practical reasons. I have no hope at all for any negotiations.

Sorry, this gives Trump too much credit. Every time he does something stupid or obnoxious, somebody says it's a distraction tactic. He doesn't need any tactical reason; that's just who he is

In order to realize you've been screwed, you have to have some inkling of policy options. Otherwise, you can be convinced your suffering is caused by the "bad guys."

He will never be the voice of reason, because he acts based on dogma rather than reason. Kind of like a kid who refuses to put his tongue in a wall socket because he thinks it will cause his mother to fall ill. Right decision, wrong reasoning
