I agree - I think neurodivergence is very much rolling with it and finding people and networks that embrace the way we approach social interaction. No amount of masking is gonna make me able to thrive better than just hanging with people that are cool with my idiosyncrasies

I think they retired those by the time I was school age sadly! For most of my life in Newcastle it was riding these mobile saunas into the pits of hell. Incredible memories

Having been in the ACT for a few years I really miss these bad boys. Fond memories of the really old NSW ones that used to feel like a furnace and smell of exhaust at the back

once you have a fruitless debate with a bot or see ai content everywhere, the idea of social media as a discursive space erodes almost completely. the way bad actors have corrosively manipulated the weaknesses of social media has really wrought damage that will never be undone
