Now that the funnels are done, (whew!) I'm experimenting with two ways to seal this open hole in the little arms.
I think the first one is better, but does use more putty. Not pictured: I did put some runner nubs in the hole to avoid needing as much putty.
Gunpla is fun 😊

The process was trusted 😊 but also, I learned that you can make Tamiya acrylics brush-able with a little pit of acrylic retarder, including airbrush flow improver!!

I didn't know either at first! When I first tried them it was for hand brushing with water and they acted very strange! I almost wrote them off.
When I finally got an airbrush I learned they need to be thinner with alcohol or even better their specific thinner! The difference is night and day.

Learning to use putty for gunpla has really been an exercise in trusting the process...

More adventures in gunpla Land!! I used Tamiya putty to fill some stubborn seams for the first time and I'm really happy with the outcome!! ( Hes destined to be painted)
I often don't have the grip strength to get great welds with plastic cement, so this being an option is huge!!
