As someone who supports legalisation, this is the least controversial pardoning. The charges were not even vaguely enough to support 2x life. There are plenty of other waaaay worse Trump pardons to use as examples.

TBH I think the Dems just need to stop it with the hopefull, progressive, kind, and educated candidates and just put forward a manly man who everyone percieves as strong and has "don't mess with me" vibes. Disconnected American voters are so shallow & vibe based that Dems just need to lean into it

Who in the chain of production pays them is utterly irrelevant. If something costs more to put on a shelf, it's more expensive for the consumer to buy.
