This entire process is totally broken. The Treasury gives a bunch of bullshit assertions, the OBR says based on these bullshit assertions we've come up with this bullshit forecast.
Amazingly it all works as if by magic in year 5 until we do this all again next year and kick the can down the road.

There is a large section of the media too addicted to the madness of the brexit and Johnson eras and can't cope without there being a constant "resignation watch" or "government on the verge of collapse" story.
