ok there's one more layering to this. there's a SHITTON of dance "classics" out there that used to be part of compilations, cds, vinyls, etc. just imagine how much digital music culture isn't recorded bc it wasn't under some label and being played in warehouses and dance games.

look, vcpkg gives good starters, but in the c++ / c world, there's no standard for build systems. at the very end of the day, itll all boil down to a shared or static library to link against + headers. that's it. we might need to customize our builds / deps… and that's why none of it will ever work.

i give up bc skill issue xD. til metal is for building up renderers from scratch if ur newbie dont try to use all their apis just to get a texture up. the funny part about graphics programming is how crutches / training is REQUIRED cuz its so complicated

He made a point how we link to think ancient / old people as dumber. They were incredibly resourceful and smart no matter the age. When we engage in art and culture, it’s the same cross generational dialogue we have across human time-space. It’s like our spirit is eternal. We aren’t any different

I talked to a friend about tribal legacies in art / literature. I think a work is great because it follows a long stream of tradition. Each inspiration can be traced back like bloodline lineage, but in culture. I had this realization w footwork. I was thinking that stuffs ancient
