Nothing in life is truly free - in digital world, if something is free, you are the product, your time, your data - you may not be fronting money but you are spending it indirectly. By the food, clothes, makeup, toys, books, household organising boxes, etc that you buy because of targeted ads.

If not, get to know through genuine interest! Be excited to learn what they like to do, and find ways to get involved!

A first step in keeping your kids secure online is by knowing what they’re using their devices for!

When letting your kids use the internet remember, the internet was not designed with kids in mind.

The way the internet functions and much of what is on the internet was not intended for kids to use.

We need to first supervise and teach our kids how to use the internet safely…

Very helpful feature from the NSPCC on the page for reporting abuse.
Short cuts to close the tab or change what is on the screen quickly could be so important if you need to make a report in a potentially dangerous situation.

No parental control is going to completely eliminate access to unsuitable content…

When you give your child access to a device you are accepting the risk they will see something you deem unsuitable.

Open communication and education is key to kids understanding and growth.
