When you can’t even post a video, it IS just for photographers, yes, even photographers take videos. You’ll never get the brands or celebrities who would bring over their millions of followers. Can’t even add my own tags. Instagram still the place to be at least for wildlife photogs and to be seen.

I’m talking about when in someone’s profile scrolling through their video list. A swipe gesture to previous page would be nice. There are no tabs like “Home” within someone’s profile page at least not on an iPad anyways.

Can we get a dark mode in the comments page? White text on a black background would be nice.

Also can we get a swipe gesture to go back to the previous page when viewing someone’s profile instead of having to press the back arrow. A back to the top would be nice too instead of scrolling back up.

Meta? Really, I think not!!!There’s BlueSky, Flashes app, which if they can separate the two would be a great alternative to Instagram. On the near horizon there’s Skylight and Neptune both currently in beta as an alternative to TT. And Foto app as an alternative to Instagram for just photos.

How about being able to swipe down on the screen to go back instead of having to press the back arrow up in the corner, gets tiring especially on an iPad. And a back to the top tab on the right side of the screen when viewing my own images in my profile would be nice instead of having to scroll up.

I used my main Bluesky account to sign up for Flashes. But I haven’t posted anything as I don’t want what I post on Flashes to also post to my Bluesky account and probably won’t post until the two are separate.

How about a switch to turn off seeing any and all political videos! Nearly every freaking video on my feed is a political video.
