Sometimes I'd like to forget Resurrection, but I do find some enjoyment in how bad and dated it is. Still, it never makes any of my semi-annual Halloween series marathons for a reason.

And maybe I'm just cynical, but I absolutely believe minimalistic game UI is a corporate decision to eliminate designers. Why pay artists to give the games personality when you could let the suits pocket the money directly instead? Now they've got "AI" doing things for the same purpose.

Lately I've seen a lot of discussions about minimalism in tech and video game design. I really do think it's a massive problem at this point. Games, PC's, phones, it all used to have flair, character, personality, etc. Things have become slick, clean, boring.

I'm kicking off the season by reading the novelization of John Carpenter's Halloween.

Looks rad, and I don't mind paying the discounted price for a rebuilt package with new and improved features and more content. Also this comment section has cancer. XD

Fuck yes, Pencil Fight!!

Was recently lamenting that this game isn't as easily accessible as the rest of the series. They really should drop a PC port at the very least.

I really dig this layout for movie posters, with the thumbnails of characters and moments at the bottom.
