Couldn't wait anymore. Took everything out, strained the solids then ran it thru some cheese cloth. It tastes exactly like hard candy. It's a rich real apple taste, an orange aroma, and a ginger kick at the end. Would be good on pancakes too

48hrs update: 90% of the sugar is syrup now. Only a little bit left to finish. The fruit is starting to get soft.

After 24hrs we have this. The fruit is starting to shrivel up, but about 70% of the sugar is liquid now. Should be good in another day or maybe by tonight. The urge to open this is killing me.

I've been making so much oolong tea lately. It's so fuckin good. I have an apple, lemon, ginger cheong sitting right now that hopefully will taste good once it's done

Woke up, made a whole gallon of oolong tea w/ peach syrup, fresh biscuits, and sausage gravy. All before 8am too! I love cooking for the Mrs.
