Oh, one more thing. It was showing me all the rolls (even for find traps) so I adjusted and told it not to show me rolls, just the results (so I don't know if my search failed). Well, I didn't specify just traps so it hid all my rolls (hits) until I asked to see one later lol.

After we were done I asked it to give me an ascii/text rendition of the dungeon, which it did, and my updated character sheet. I think in the future I'll dive in and give more details. Overall it was a good DM for a short run. I can't talk to anything past that.

It was pretty good about tracking stuff, and especially knew how infravision worked (probably better than most DMs). It was a short dungeon, but that's because I didn't specify anything else. Murder hobo'd a goblin, skeleton, zombie. It was nice and short before bed.

I told Grok which character creation rules to use and had it generate my stats. I went with standard gear and a large mace w/shield. Afterwards Grok dropped me of outside of a small dungeon. I proceeded into the dungeon, had some enoucnters, got some loot, and then came outside to camp.

It asked me about my character. In this case I had been working on a custom class, balanced with the others for B/X and BECMI. It was a Dwarf (Fighter/Cleric multiclass essentially, different from the mostly fighter dwarf). I sent it the specifics of the class which I already had and we pushed on.

It wasn't a long adventure. I was in bed, not ready to sleep. Obviously I wasn't going to get a group together while in bed so I turned to Grok3. I asked it to DM a solo b/x D&D adventure for me. It was going to be level 1 so B/X or BECMI didn't make much of a difference. It said sure.

To be clear, I just finished WATCHING this series. I am not its creator :-)

Yep. Captain America went after both of the baddies, as he should.

If I'm in the mood then I throw on a VR headset and use Immersed and just work in there with however many desktops I need until I get tired.

I can see the usefulness when there's one app across both full screens (as shown or when gaming). I'm in the same boat though with multiple apps/windows. I lose stuff or it gets hidden. I have to use multiple monitors for the same screen real estate just to keep everything organized and docked.

Did you ever get or see the plastic one from the Fallout 4 CE? I have that one. It doesn't look as nice and probably isn't as sturdy as yours, but it was pretty neat. Instead of having a display like yours it just allows you to insert your phone and use the Fallout 4 pip-boy app.
