From the interviews I saw there's not currently a plan for a first party one, but the expansion slot is just PCIe so I could see people like babble adapting to it pretty easily. Plenty of power and bandwidth on that bus.

I mean there's no face tracking, just eye tracking. For face you'd just grab something external like babble.

The eye tracking in the frame is designed for foveated rendering / encoding (and press demos showed that working) so it's already better than the bsb2e in that respect lol

A lot of my SLAM experience comes from Quest 1 / Pro which didn't impress me, if valve does it good I'd be sold. Sucks I'll have to replace my FBT ecosystem (or use playspace calibration)

Would be cool if valve opened up their SLAM implementation so people could make their own SLAM FBT...
