The government is being sued over it so hopefully it won't last.

So far it looks like the VPN I'm using has prevented my account from being restricted and requiring ID, but there's no guarantee that they won't restrict my account in the near future.

I still find it funny how you can find it on Google simply by searching for "that episode" 😂

Unfortunately Signal may no longer be an option for me as they've threatened to shut down service in the UK due to this "Online Safety Act"...

It's not like requiring random websites and platforms to request your ID could possibly lead to an increase in phishing scams and Identity theft! /s

I mean, that's pretty normal where I am, people go to the local corner shop barefoot all the time, hell, I've even seen people go to Tesco (local supermarket) in their dressing gowns 🤣
