Everyone who worked on @atomfall.com should be super proud of themselves. I just rolled credits on it and loved every single second. The gameplay was great, the story was fantastic and whoever did that ending credits music deserves a raise! I know it's not easy to release new IP, but you lot did it!

If 9 hours of @atomfall.com has taught me anything it's that food I find on the floor in a ruined castle is recommended eating. Oh, and Northerners are weird, but I'm a Northerner, so I already knew that. Wyndham just feels like home. Fantastic job @richdmay.bsky.social and team!

Why are books so expensive in Canada? The book I'm reading has a UK RRP of £7.99 (which would be including tax) and a Canadian RRP of $21.95 (with tax payable at the till which would be 5% since provincial tax is rebated, totalling $23.05). This would be £12.45, or almost 56% more. I don't get it.

Heartbreaking to hear about People Can Fly layoffs after applying yesterday. Why hire if layoffs loomed? Devs aren’t numbers; we have families. For execs, it’s saving money, but for us, it’s wondering if we’ll have a home in the New Year. The industry must do better. We’re game devs, not numbers!

I'm sad to say that today was my last day at Torn Banner, having been affected by the company-wide layoffs. I loved the people & my work there, as well as what we created and I wish everyone the best in their future.
As such, I'm open to work in the industry, either in Canada or Remote. Hit me up!

Don't forget, if you're coming to Bluesky from the Dead Bird, to download your data - x.com/settings/dow... - and delete your tweets using something like Redact.dev THEN deactivate your account (and don't log back in!). Don't let them use your data once you're not around to protect it!
