(only game here I’ve played is Silksong, just my prediction not what I want)

It feels crazy to say this but the first film kind of annoys me now. So much glaring flaws covered up by nostalgic references and fan service.

I think it’s a “hype crash” from the insane amount of hype for it that I had in 2023, if such a thing exists. I made a fan account for goodness sake

Another one: the Ubisoft “get used to not owning your games” quote was taken out of context, the guy was asked what had to shift in order for subscription services to become a bigger part of the industry

Dogpile by @folly.studio is the second dog-themed game demo in a row I’ve played. I saw Stumpt play it and wanted to try it out myself. It’s a fun merge deckbuilder game with special dog effects that can help or hurt you. The artstyle is goofy as well. store.steampowered.com/app/3839300/...

- in order to release a new game in a series, you have to replace the old game with the new game in an update and make the old game unplayable

(Also, I became intrigued with the possibility of levels beating themselves and I got video footage of two levels completing themselves with no input)

Sheepherds! by @ultimodisco.bsky.social is a game that I instantly wanted to try out upon seeing. It’s a co-op game about herding sheep and it’s really fun! I was only able to play singleplayer for now but I want to try multiplayer in the future. Very cute store.steampowered.com/app/3006280/...

Bubsy 4D is a very promising 3D platformer. I really liked Bubsy’s movement, it was really fast while still allowing for precise landings and I got good at the movement quick. The speedruns for the demo look insane.

It becomes really satisfying when you do, but you have to struggle a bit before it clicks for you. Patience is extremely important

I also can’t wait for the flood of “Silksong KILLED AAA Gaming” videos, like gaming youtubers do with every non-AAA success. Y’all call AAA gaming dead like every month how am I supposed to take you seriously
