LEX: WHAT CAN I SAY? I'M VERY CHARMING. HARLEY: HE REALLY IS, BOSS JOKER: OH, FINE. EVERYBODY LOVES LEX MORE THAN THE JOKER! HA HA! PAGE 2 Lex's phone rings. It's Clark! Lex has chosen a sleepy bedhead picture for Clark's icon and it's very cute LEX: SHIT. IT'S CLARK. EVERYBODY SHUT UP. (answering phone) HEY, BABE. WHAT'S UP? CLARK: (over the phone) WHAT ARE YOU DOING? LEX: OH, JUST, UH, GOING OVER SOME PAPERWORK FOR TOMORROW. (in the background, the joker is fretting over the hyenas) JOKER: YOU STILL LOVE YOUR DADDY, DON'T YOU? HARLEY: OF COURSE THEY DO! (our first exterior shot shows that the three villains are inside some kind of heavily armored personnel carrier. the exterior of the APC says ice cream. flawless camouflage. clark/superman's shadow is visible on the outside of the vehicle) CLARK: YOU ARE NOT. LEX: HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT? CLARK: BECAUSE I CAN SEE YOU. LEX: ...oh CLARK: LEX LEX: THAT IS CHEATING CLARK: COME OUTSIDE, PLEASE (view outside the hatch for the apc. its occupants are having an argument) JOKER: WELL, WE'RE DEAD LEX: IT'S FINE. I CAN HANDLE IT JOKER: LEX, IF WE GET SQUISHED, I SWEAR TO GOD (lex emerges from the hatch to find clark floating above him) CLARK: YOU ARE IN A LOT OF TROUBLE LEX: DEFINE 'A LOT' CLARK: LIKE A LOT, A LOT LEX: I SEE. IS IT MORE OR LESS TROUBLE IF I START UNZIPPING THIS (he begins to unzip his bodysuit CLARK: ...GO ON JOKER: OH, NOW I UNDERSTAND THE OUTFIT
