It was an early September morning in 2022 when I discovered I had accidentally photographed something unexpected: a nebula. After many attempts I zeroed in and finally got this shot of Orion’s Nebula! It was the most exciting photo I’d taken up to that point.

Birds make quite the racket when somethings up, so it was a treat to see the culprit of their ire, this gorgeous Red Shouldered Hawk that landed on our deck! No doubt the birds were less enthusiastic to our visitor than I was.
