I watched the film a while back and it kinda felt like they were doing their own thing instead of resembling the actual comics in terms of humor and tone, so I guess it reflects on the designs, too.

Ohhh, I remember playing this game before. I didn't really get into the gameplay but I liked the art, story and characters
