Yes, sorry you are correct. Another thing that doesn’t make much sense to me as you would need to actually do the math to figure out what you owe and at that point why not just file if you must pay anyway if you owe.

I think there’s a statute of limitations on how long after becoming a citizen that it can be revoked due to fraud. I certainly don’t advocate for this to be used for most, if not all, other naturalized citizens, but

While I want immigrants and naturalized citizens to feel safe in our country, there is a process called denaturalization in the US, often only used in cases of fraud during the process of becoming a naturalized citizen, or acts of terrorism.
