ICE isn't new, at least not in the sense of their actions. ICE is a direct result of centuries of normalizing violence as a means of "law and order" towards the proletariat and marginalized groups.

ICE isnt a unique evil, its just another manifestation of previous cuts.

The reality is ICE is acting on policies and behaviors that have been foundational of Policing since the beginning of Policing, back when they were still slave catchers and colonial occupying armies. ICE would not be here without years of normalizing state violence.

MOVE bombing? 2020 BLM movement? Haymarket Affair? The assassination of Fred Hampton? Kent State? The Gas Riots?

Idk im not against Nihilism for the questions it brings but through bettering myself, learning history of movements etc. Ive begun to have hope again and see that a better world is possible and in a way its made my activism and personal life better.

I slacked off in personal relationships, at work, and with my own health bc I didnt believe in the concept of a Future. It was the ideological equivalent of not brushing my teeth bc I didnt think id be alive to deal with the consequences and now here I am

I didnt think there was a future for Me, and so when I read theory that said "there is no future" I embraced that quickly and began to act in ways that were detrimental to my future
