I’d like to imagine Twilight discovers her familial relationship with Trixie by complete accident. And I’d think it’s especially funny if Trixie never knows, but is somewhat leery and suspicious when Twilight suddenly begins treating Trixie better, on account of sharing blood.

Velvets father died and her mom remarried and had a her half-sister, Trixie. Trixie, however, was disowned for being, you know, Trixie.

Twilight grew up only hearing whispers of the crazed Aunt, but never knew who she was. Because Trixie was disowned, she has no idea Twilight exists nor is related.
