Wow…I feel so special. Got my 1st ez pass scam text. For a car I don’t own. And wouldn’t know how to drive if I did.

Okay…so much for staying off social media this weekend. That lasted about 2.5 seconds. Yeah.

So, apparently, I’m a ‘Bluesky Elder’. Whatever the hell that means. Also, my joints may agree with this assessment today. #BlueskyElder

What I need to do is sit my ass down & really learn how to use Bluesky effectively. Yeah, it’s a little bit of a learning process but not that overwhelming. I’m following all of these great people, but have to start stepping out of my comfort zone & step up.

I’m not posting on Threads anymore, but not quite ready to give it up. Couple of photographers & writers I follow that haven’t or aren’t moving over here. My IG is already locked down & I’ve never used Facebook. Still - probably - moving in the direction of deleting it all.

Since we had ‘that’ kind of week, I’m giving myself permission to do a Marvel rewatch for a nice dose of escapism. All the way back to ‘Iron Man’. Yeah.

If you're angry/scared & don't have the resources to do much but you want to do something, START COMPILING. Start collecting lists of local/national organizations that DO have plans. Voting rights, Women, LGBTQ+ & Immigrant protections, share, compare & compile to make it easier for others to help🧵

Still bouncing back & forth between the mental doomscrolling & being incredibly angry. Again, being angry is good. Relatively speaking. Gets me out of my head & into action. Currently researching & exploring resources & options for getting involved here in the city. Start small, then work big.

And what is up with the accounts suddenly following me today with Melon Musk in their handles??? I’m nobody. Seriously. But. Blocking their asses with surgical precision. Feels very satisfying.

It’s been a combo of sad, bewilderment with a side of ‘wtf???’ & trying to not crawl under my blanket & never coming out again. Maintaining my daily routine is helping. I’m also getting flashes of being very, very pissed off. Being angry is a good thing. Angry means action.

Done & done. Such a great vibe & wonderful poll workers at my polling location - Washington Heights always & forever.

So had one of my questions about MSG answered. Didn’t know that the current owner/CEO is a T’rump sycophant & donor.

Curious about the actual attendance numbers for today’s circus at MSG. I’m surprised that they let TFG actual book it given his history of non-payment. Or did they demand payment up front?

Well…still learning my way around this joint. Already blocked someone who decided to send me a DM. Not sure why they felt the need to do to so. So, turned that function off. I don’t mind chatting with folks, but unless I know you, etc, the DM thing ain’t happening. Are bots a thing here?

Slowly working my way over here. Not gonna give up Threads entirely, but with the recent issues…yeah. Disappointing, but definitely not surprised. Currently checking to see if more of my favorites are here yet.
