I had a crim justice prof, former Green Beret and police officer. He said that one of the problems with law enforcement was its attraction as a career for those who wanted to wield power over the powerless. He said law enforcement needed to attract better informed people. I think about that a lot.

I’m generally a fan of throwback uniforms, but these Steelers throwbacks are awful! Or maybe that’s just a product of my general loathing of the Steelers.
