Made the trek to Nuremberg today and rediscovered my sweet tooth!

Renovated half-timbered Franconian house from 1700s in downtown Erlangen. When the style went out of fashion, wooden spikes were embedded to support plaster over the entire wall. Times have changed again! Note the Franconian wooden ceiling.

I made it! Here is the home of Inorganic at FAU where they will graciously let me fumble around. Guesthouse is across the street, shortest work commute I have had in a while!
