I made it! After a year of training, I was able to compete in the speed qualifier at our gym. Even racing alongside coaches who are literally half my age 😅, I managed to complete the course twice—and survived in one piece 💪. Couldn’t be happier to run the same course as Rex!

📢 Survey Open: Help Shape the Future of the IMPC!
We have recently launched a survey titled “Completing the Catalogue of Mammalian Gene Function and Defining Future Priorities.”
The results will be presented during the January Strategic Conference.

IMPC survey: Completing the catalogue of mammalian gene function and defining future priorities
IMPC is currently evaluating its future production and phenotyping priorities. To date, IMPC has focused on protein coding genes with human orthologs and little to no functional annotation, also referred to as “dark genes”. To date, the International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium- IMPC [which includes the NIH-funded Knockout Mouse Phenotyping Program (KOMP2)] has produced knockout mouse lines for 11,208 unique genes and conducted comprehensive phenotyping on 9,774 knockout lines, representing 9,073 genes. All data is accessible at www.mousephenotype.org and mice are available to order from public mouse repositories [e.g., Mutant Mouse Resource and Research Center (MMRRC)]. The purpose of this survey is to ascertain your level of interest and enthusiasm for IMPC to continue its production and phenotyping of knockout mouse lines for the remaining human orthologous genes in the mouse genome. In addition, this survey seeks your input on the scientific value of IMPC producing and phenotyping allele types other than knockouts. As a representative of your field of research, please consider and answer the following 9 questions…think broadly! Thank you for participating in this brief 10 minute survey.

Back on trampoline to practice flipping again after injured my knees at parkour speed practice (first right, then left 😂). Couldn’t even squat down or climb stairs for over six weeks. And Rex’s back flip is almost in its complete form!

Up until now, I haven't marked study sections not meeting unless listed on CSR. Now that I can't trust CSR, I will be marking based on personal communication (highlighted orange). If you were scheduled to be on a SS this March and know it's not meeting, reach out! I will keep my informants anonymous
Wondering if your study section cancelled? I update this sheet daily. As of today, 56/124 study sections that should have met since Jan 2, 2025 have "not met as scheduled." docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

Seriously @Apple???
Took my iPhone in to get front screen repaired tonight. Noticed immediately after picking it up something was not right…
Turns out the new front screen/glass was not inserted completely and it is making popping noice and is thicker than how it supposed to be.

Was asked if #EZClear can clear bone and cartilage, for some reason I decided to try on a whole de-skinned hind limb, but now it is sticking out of the bottle and waving at me… 😩😩😩

Oh Halloween is next week, then this is probably fine.
