I probably won't post anything
The issue is there is no consistent criteria from year to year or even week to week.

We are all just waiting for that next convincing reporting.
December 23, 2025 at 6:25 PM
2023 FSU would disagree
December 23, 2025 at 6:20 PM
They have future scheduling agreements with Auburn, Florida, Alabama, Indiana, Michigan, BYU and a 12 year agreement with Clemson. Not sure what else you are seeing that would suggest harder scheduling. You are welcome to speculate what you think may happen, there just isn't any evidence for it.
December 23, 2025 at 5:26 PM
Neither future scheduling or recruiting has been a struggle for ND recently. Maybe you hope what you said happens, but there is little evidence for it as of today.
December 23, 2025 at 5:08 PM
Anyone claiming anything different had bad information. Along with the supposed ND scheduling freeze.
December 23, 2025 at 3:58 PM
Well, it seemed to make sense for Auburn, Texas, Florida, Alabama, Indiana, etc. The idea of a ND scheduling freeze out was claimed with no evidence.
December 23, 2025 at 12:40 PM
I think ND being independent is one of the things that keep college football weird and I like that. I thought it was cool when ND, Miami, Penn St, BYU, etc were all independent, but that's just me. Agree to disagree.
December 22, 2025 at 8:00 PM
Odd you say you love college football, but seem to hate that ND is not in a conference when they literally have never been in a conference. Of everything that has changed in this sport, ND being independent has remained one of the only consistent features.

The answer is always money
December 22, 2025 at 6:21 PM
Claims of a ND schedule freeze out seem to have been greatly exaggerated.
December 22, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Never would have thought BYU would be a better resume builder than SC, but here we are. Obviously sucks, but SC did it to themselves when they blew up the Pac12.
December 22, 2025 at 5:22 PM
Oh boy, will they find out against IU.
December 20, 2025 at 7:15 AM
Going to be a bloodbath. Wouldn't have mattered who won this game, Indiana was going to curb stomp them.
December 20, 2025 at 7:12 AM
Aren't conferences pretty much nothing now? Is it not time to just dissolve all the conferences and start a pro/rel system? I don't know, just seems logical at this point. Rip the bandage off.
December 10, 2025 at 3:04 AM
So you don't understand the sentiment? ND was in the field from the very first ranking, did nothing but win, and then were dropped for no good reason. Come on Pat, you know these are two different circumstances.
December 10, 2025 at 2:20 AM
Wasn't trying to be condescending. Sorry if it came off that way.
December 10, 2025 at 1:39 AM
I think you are misunderstanding the issue. It has nothing to do with being 10-2 and getting left out. That is part of the game. It is the part where they were in the field from the beginning and did nothing but win and were, for no understandable reason, dropped out. Seems like a legit gripe, no?
December 10, 2025 at 1:30 AM
Including one that was in a conference championship game. Being in a conference doesn't guarantee anything and avoids having rules that put a 7-5 team in the championship game over a 10-2 team
December 10, 2025 at 1:25 AM
I just remember Charlie Strong doing handstands
December 10, 2025 at 1:11 AM
Dude, sorry. But I have that exact same picture from the football camp!! How cool is that! Now I gotta find that photo and make it my avatar.
December 10, 2025 at 12:57 AM
Technically, ND's resume improved as one of their opponents won a conference title game.
December 10, 2025 at 12:37 AM
The little joys in life, huh
December 10, 2025 at 12:31 AM
This is about Alabama, not Miami.
