Power of large pores in MOFs!
In our latest work by our student Tsan-Yu, aniline was polymerized in Zr-MOFs with large mesopores, small mesopores, and only micropores. PANI@large mesoporous MOF shows the best rate capability!
Check it in ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces:

In our student Hsin-Ya's work, we reported the first example of Zr-MOF initiator for polymerization to make a conducting polymer! 2D MOF-dispersed PPy can be synthesized for electrochemical sensing.
It is just out in ACS Applied Nano Materials:

Mesopore matters! Our master student Tzu-Hsien's work shows that creating large mesopores in Zr-MOF by surfactant-assisted synthesis can accelerate the ion-coupled charge-hopping process and thus boost electrochemical performances. It is out in Electrochimica Acta:

Our review on Zr-MOFs for batteries and supercapacitors is out in Coordination Chemistry Reviews!
doi.org/10.1016/j.cc...
I was working intensively on it for a couple months during late 2024, and good to see it's out! Also, glad to see it's a part of special issue of MOF2024@Singapore!
