"Everyone is in favor of free speech. Hardly a day passes without its being extolled, but some people's idea of it is that they are free to say what they like, but if anyone says anything back, that is an outrage." ― Churchill.

No one is celebrating his passing. We're celebrating his life. His legacy. Because #RobertRedford cared about our future and our planet. Today, that seems heroic. It was never heroic to him.

The remorseless cruelty and callous hypocrisy of this administration is summed up by this photo. #KilmarAbregoGarcia is threatened with deportation to Uganda, when he hasn't been convicted of any crime. Sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, on the other hand, got a cushy upgrade to Club Fed.

I'm all for it. In fact, I hope Newsom runs in 2028 if we still have a country left. And we know the Felon in Chief HATES it, so troll away with it.

Maxwell stated: "The president was never inappropriate with anybody."

In 2023, a NY jury found Trump liable for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll, awarding her $5 million in judgment. In 2024, he was found guilty of 34 felony counts because of $130,000 in hush money paid to Stormy Daniels.

These are our tax dollars at work, people, allocated by MAGA to gut essential services, shutter hospitals, and deport neighbors. We will suffer the life-altering, lethal effects of this bill for decades to come.

So when midterms roll around, remember who did this to us.

It would be an Orwellian farce, were it not our government. Our country. Our very lives. It’s become so insane, it’s gone beyond authoritarianism directly to crazy train to hell.

Speak up. Protest. Resist. Silence = death.

Feeling great again, America? Because I sure AF am not. The WTF tariffs just wiped out trillions of wealth, jobs, and IRAs, and the Felon thinks we "need to take our medicine?" I think he needs to be impeached. ASAP. #stockmarket #tarriffs

#booksky THE SAINT LAURENT MUSE is out today. Enjoy the wild fashion scene in 1970s Paris!

Is it enough yet? Do we need more proof that the regime answers to Putin? Are we, the people, going to let them destroy world peace and alliances to line their pockets?

#Zelinskyy was the first ally to be thrown to the wolves. He won't be the last - and we will all pay the price.

"Do not be misled: this is not just about who can compete on the athletic field, this is about whether a President can force compliance with his will, without regard for the rule of law that governs our nation. I believe he cannot.” - Janet Mills, Governor of Maine.

#LesterHolt leaving as Nightly News anchor. #JoyReid and #AlexWagner cancelled. #Jose-DiazBalart and #KatiePhang weekend shows axed. Brown, Latino, and Asian faces disappear from #NBC programing in an era of open racism.

This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source.

Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

Gov. Pritzker's courage shouldn't be praiseworthy. He's standing up for what every elected rep., regardless of party, is bound by oath to do: put country before self-interest. For all the reps whom we, the people, voted into office, the time for you to speak up is NOW. #Democratsunite #fightTrump

Talk to voters experiencing buyer remorse. Not "We TOLD you so." Did you vote for him to raid Medicaid and your tax info.? Did you vote for him to spend $10.7 million of tax-payer funds in his first month playing golf, while a billionaire decides what we can live without? No? Neither did we.

We knew they'd do this. Now, are we going to let them get away with it? #fightback #resist
BREAKING: Sen. Ron Wyden sounds the alarm that Trump approves of the House budget resolution -- the only way they can meet their $880 billion in cuts is by cutting hundreds of billions from Medicaid, a disaster for millions.

Make sure everyone sees this.

Crockett on Trump's relatively high approval: We've gotta do better at education. People don't understand. But you will understand when your Medicaid goes away. You will understand when planes continue to fall out of the sky... maybe Sleepy Joe is what we wanted, bc we could at least sleep at night.

Harris won 74,999,166 votes or 48.3% of votes cast in 2024 election, compared to the Felon's 77,284,118 votes or 49.8% of votes. A razor-thin difference of 1.5%. Those nearly 75 million Harris voters are looking to you, our reps., to fight for US, the people. Right here and right now. #fightback

We're in for a VERY long, awful four years. But the way to #resist is to keep fighting back, no matter what. Do one thing every day against the regime (call or write your rep, march or scream out the window) and replenish. They're counting on overwhelming us to exhaustion. Don't let them.

Given our current chaos, I tend to forget I have a book coming out. But Booklist reminded me with a fun review that says The Saint Laurent Muse is "...a high-fashion 1970s zeitgeist…in a world of 'beautiful superficiality'” #booksky

Out on March 18 wherever books are sold.
