Allowing a "vendor" (Musk) to have access to your "accounts payable" systems (the Treasury) flies in the face of every audit principle having to do with segregation of duties, internal controls, and data security. This wouldn't fly at any publicly traded company and would never pass an audit.

Eleanor Gailey, a hero for our time, Part 2: Returning after two stints in Afghanistan, she faced Stage 4 ovarian cancer from living near burn pits on the base near Kabul. She died after a 4 year struggle.
Her enduring spirit is my inspiration in our "good fight" against the fascist infection.

Last year, the Dept. of Defense awarded, posthumously, its two highest civilian awards to one of their criminal investigators, my beloved niece Eleanor. Her investigations into US military contractors in Afghanistan recovered more than a billion dollars of taxpayer money, the most ever.
