I also do medieval style and calligraphy in the SCA. I find it both rewarding and frustrating.

A SCA award scroll done with art based on early Medieval English jewelry and a helmet. There is a lot of gold gilded on the artwork. There is also calligraphy done based on a calligraphic hand called insular minuscule.

I create a couple of different types of things. One, I bake. (Pear/Concord grape pie and chocolate anglefood cake)
A baked pie with golden puffed crust. There are decorative jokes cut in the top crust. A chocolate cake still in an angel food cake tube pan, before it's turned over to cool.

We had a greyhound who loved wearing her sweaters or hoodie so much, you could shake them out and she would try to run to it to put it on.

Poor Dash. His tail got injured a few weeks ago. The vet kept an eye on it and bandaged it well. He can now go without if he doesn’t lick. He tried when we first got home but mostly stopped so no more cone of shame. The shaved tip of his tail does look sad! #SkyHounds
