Thanks for that! Have followed. He used to be my mp before we moved & was a terrible local mp…used to only occasionally reply & if he did it was always a generic central Tory party standard response.

Wish the same had happened where I live now but alas, it’s a very safe seat. Maybe next time!

..my mobility is so poor now, I can barely stand or walk. I’m only 48 & now classed as housebound.

If they’d done the op at first, when my bmi was borderline, I’d hopefully be a lot better, at least with that aspect and would have a much better chance at being able to lose the weight naturally.

They refuse or put off ops for all sorts of reasons. I desp need both hips replaced (right is end stage 4, so as bad as it can get) but they wouldn’t do it till my bmi was below 40 (it was spot on at the time)

Unsurprisingly, despite doing everything I can inc weekly physio I’ve GAINED weight as..

Have a very fond spot in my heart for Bristol, since I spent years studying Archaeology there back in the 90’s! My favourite place in the country. Would love to visit or even live there again some day.
