Herby ain’t going to be too far off from his prediction it does not seem!

Woke up this morning in Xalapa and discovered our room had a wonderful view of this beautiful very tall mountain peak in the distance. Turns out it’s actually the 3rd tallest peak in North America. So at 18,491 ft at it peak I share my view of “Pico de Orizaba”!

In Mérida, I place this bowl of water outside for the strays who were obviously panting and hot…they’ll come like my hands dipped in the water but are keeping their distance from the water. 😞

Hug your pups and give them an extra belly rub. Our sweet Callie Maye crossed over the rainbow bridge while we slept. Rest easy baby girl, you’re one of one. 💔😭

Just finished a road trip from Dallas, TX, to Tulum, MX. We wouldn’t have left her behind for the world. 1,800+ miles over 7 days just to make sure was comfy as possible.

We don’t have little humans to look after but this is my kiddo!

Making our way through Mexico on our way to an extended stay in Tulum. We’re on day 4 of 7 driving. My stress decreased 10 fold when we crossed over in Laredo and despite a few hiccups along the way, dinners with her make it all good!

Callie wouldn’t cooperate but we had a nice view during our walk this morning. Hola from Monterrey, MX!

Aldi in Carrollton, TX today.

Wife hadn’t had a chance to watch the Wicked movie but I know it’s one of her favorite musicals. So tonight I told her I’d take care of dinner and I wanted her to enjoy watching it. This plus a nice bottle of wine and cheesecake for dessert.
