The gritty, violent, and depressing world of the older titles made for great stories of human struggle, and provided ample opportunity for RP. Some of the stuff in those older games were really heavy - in comparison, the new one is a bit juvenile?

Oh man, I remember playing DA:O and DA2 when they came out, loved the first one a bit more than the second one, yet both hold a special place for me.

I haven't followed the franchise. I saw some random DA:V gameplay on YT without context where it was from, and thought it was completely new IP.

Too bad the education system has been in a decline in the recent years, with the current government imposing even more cuts to the education budget.
