Enjoyed a visit to the Casa das Rosas right in downtown São Paulo on Avenida Paulista. Finished in 1935 and occupied by the builder’s family until the mid-1980s. Now it’s open to the public and free to visit! More pics on insta.

My tradition on overnight United flights, especially going over the equator, is to have the grilled cheese and tomato soup snack midway through. Pro tip: ask them to put the soup in a mug, much easier to handle 😋

On UA62 en route to São Paulo. Kudos to United for upgrading their wine selection in business The Champagne is now Laurent-Perrier and they had this excellent Heitz cab.

Today’s the day! After 24.5 years working at UT Austin I’m retiring from this wonderful and crazy place. I’ll still be doing some part-time work for the university but looking forward to new adventures. Hook ‘em! 🤘🏼

I was lucky enough to spend almost 2 weeks in the air in 2024 🤓 Checked the United Pacific Island Hopper trip off my bucket list and really enjoyed every place I visited!
