It’s the holiday season so I visited North Van Shipyards Christmas Market. Shops in Cute little sheds with lots of great food. Best German pretzels.

Is this the first time the city has done this? It’s fun! In Vancouver and Lower Mainland we have them all the time. It’s great to see local community groups, stores and small crafter/makers on the street. Always packed even when it rains

Nope the cats say - not gonna run after the neighbourhood squirrel at all. #cats a little supervised backyard grass eating and sniffing - never alone out there because we don’t want them to kill any animals, or get killed.

Young Cobra Chickens - Canada’s most dangerous urban animals - took over the street in Yaletown neighbourhood of Vancouver. People stayed well away from them though many took pictures and videos. They were headed towards False Creek waterway

Had to replace hinges on under sink kitchen cupboard door. They are original 40 years old now and the hinges rusted out.
Took off the above fridge cabinet door hinges to use. Will take the old ones to hardware store to find similar replacements - quite a few doors need new hinges

Parade bands - it was so hot and they were all awesome.
SFU pipe and drum band are world famous - 2nd or 3rd best I think.
