Night shot of boardwalk along North Van next to Lonsdale Quay - decorated for Xmas little cedar sheds with shops in them for people to visit. Lots of people on the boardwalk German Pretzel shop at Shipyards Christmas market - made by Germans. Super tasty! On display a variety of types including the original plain, some cooked with cheese and ham among others Shipyards before it got dark, better view of the small cedar sheds that vendors have shops in along the boardwalk and area next to Lonsdale Quay

It’s the holiday season so I visited North Van Shipyards Christmas Market. Shops in Cute little sheds with lots of great food. Best German pretzels.

It’s #autumn Fall! Burnaby trees Turing colours now and looking beautiful.
On my way today to #Knitcity Vancouver
Tree leaves on this maple are turning bright red. Very pretty ombré effect too down red to green leaves Tree with leaves slowly turning yellow and brown. Not sure of tree species but it’s tall the small leaves are delicate. Murder of crows (6) on the paved street watching as I walk by waiting for me to toss them some food on this overcast day Tall skinny tree with small head of leaves slowly turning yellow and brown and leaves slowly falling to the ground

Is this the first time the city has done this? It’s fun! In Vancouver and Lower Mainland we have them all the time. It’s great to see local community groups, stores and small crafter/makers on the street. Always packed even when it rains

Nope the cats say - not gonna run after the neighbourhood squirrel at all. #cats a little supervised backyard grass eating and sniffing - never alone out there because we don’t want them to kill any animals, or get killed.

Young Cobra Chickens - Canada’s most dangerous urban animals - took over the street in Yaletown neighbourhood of Vancouver. People stayed well away from them though many took pictures and videos. They were headed towards False Creek waterway

Had to replace hinges on under sink kitchen cupboard door. They are original 40 years old now and the hinges rusted out.
Took off the above fridge cabinet door hinges to use. Will take the old ones to hardware store to find similar replacements - quite a few doors need new hinges

Parade bands - it was so hot and they were all awesome.
SFU pipe and drum band are world famous - 2nd or 3rd best I think.
