I hope its very and I am so sorry Love, Blue" The subject line was "OW" User xakumi: THE SUBJECT LINE IS THE BEST PART JSJFJSKDJS JUST IMAGINE GETTING AN EMAIL WITH NO CONTEXT OTHER THAN "OW" User womenlovewords: I once sent an email to a professor with the subject line: "Helo I am dying tofay." And the body of the message was just "head ow" The context was that I got a concussion, forgot that someone else had already told my professors I wasn't going to be in class, and decided I must send them my own message. This visit's offering to the wishing tree - I keep making small, reasonable wishes with a single shell on a pilfered piece of string but this year I brought my own thread and made a pretty little wind chime-esque assortment of different shells and an absolutely *buckwild* wish because why not?

Okay I'm not typing this all out again looking for advice, is it sloppy and unprofessional to change my schedule, for context I just missed a week and had to go virtual every day for personal/health reasons and I don't want to keep letting my students down but it feels like I'll do that either way 😮‍💨

I'm looking ahead and it'll involve a little creativity with reworking the schedule and it'll crunch some of the later assignments together but it'll give the students more time to work on this assignment and I'll be able to (hopefully) give them feedback on the first speech I feel like it's a little sloppy but better than asking them to do the second assignment in a sequence without giving them feedback on the first assignment in that sequence It also gives me a little breathing room Cause like I get short 10-15 minute windows where I can look at my phone before my eye starts acting up, no way can I look at my computer, so I can't do anything productive right now and I don't want to leave my students hanging

I've got Morgana, though, and I suppose that's keeping me going. She ignored me for a couple days (she's gotta grieve in her own way) but she's decided to be cuddly again. It's a lot harder to be existentially spent with a 12lb purring weighted blanket on your lap, even if it does occasionally bite

My mom took me out to try and get my mind off things and though I had a good time I was very upset to come home knowing Emma wasn't waiting, then morgana was hiding (she always is when people are around) but she didn't come out even after Mom left and I proceeded to have a solid breakdown
