The official bluesky account of the Division of Vascular Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
Arteries are the bread and butter of vascular surgery—but not all vascular surgeons have the breadth of expertise and experience that we have here at CU Vascular.

From CLTI to PAD and beyond, CU Vascular is your one-stop shop for arterial health care.

CU Vascular Surgery is now offering TAMBE, or Thoracoabdominal Multibranch Endoprosthesis!

TAMBE is a recent development in the vascular landscape, with only three Colorado practitioners currently completing the procedure (two of which are on our team! 🤫)

For patients in the South Denver Metro, the trek up to Aurora isn't always convenient.

That's why we also have a clinic down at Highlands Ranch Hospital, staffed by the incredible Dr. Emily Malgor and Christian Wheelock, PA!

CU Vascular Surgery values access and comfort—which is why we operate our Outpatient-Based Lab, or OBL, right across the street from University Hospital!

No complicated parking or getting lost in the halls. Instead, just park and walk right in!

Meet our OBL team—they're excited to meet you!

Today we want to highlight the incredibly talented Dr. Rafael Malgor.

Dr. Malgor has trained in Brazil, Germany, and the USA, and is an expert in aneurysms and dissections.

His patients have called him professional, compassionate, and patient.

We're so grateful to have Dr. Malgor on our team!
