"I've never seen you get so frustrated at a Resident Evil game before..."

I'll just go back and play the OG RE3 on GoG instead, I think.

And as I said, the stealth is just painful. Enemies can spot you from the weirdest lines of sight. As long as it's horizontal. These fuckers seem to have no idea that vertical elevations exist. So you spend most of your time looking for rooftop approaches, even while in disguise, because it's easier

Because IJatGC wanted to have those levelling-up RPG elements, Indy starts the game with fuck-all stamina and the handling of a sea cow. Fights are sluggish, gruelling and Indy's left panting like he's just run a marathon after 2-3 swings. It's just not fun.

The combat is really the sticking point for me though. I didn't love God of War Ragnarok. The story was infuriating and the insistence of the game in having those mandatory "Press forward to proceed" cut scenes had me yelling at my computer more than once. But the combat was fun. Kratos is fun.

Then breaking line of sight for more than 5 seconds is usually enough to get them to call off the search. The game clearly wants you to explore because it's thrown half a dozen side quests at me in the first major game area, but then it makes navigating those areas such a chore.

NPCs don't react to Indy doing weird shit like jumping on tables, crab-walking around the place and cracking his whip everywhere in the Vatican library. And when the Blackshirts do spot him because I've done something stupid, or a captain has seen through my disguise

But Indiana Jones just feels like it doesn't know what it wants to be. It feels listless and disappointing. The areas are chock-full of enemies in an attempt to force you into stealth gameplay, but the stealth system itself is kind of lazily implemented.

Thanks for the information. Were you an adult when you took part in the fire camp? I ask because I've seen news reports of minor incarcerated people also working fire crews, and that seems a far cry from adults volunteering to work that kind of risky job.
