You can effectively hip fire pulse rifles and have a lower TTK than the strongest aggressive sidearm at close range.

Personal preferences don't override the realities of the sandbox; and the mass use of pulse rifles which can be tracked via websites dedicated to tracking it.

Pulse Rifles, specifically Outbreak and Battler, are top usage weapons period.

I'd argue that the reason Trials was never truly successful is because of the power level function.
