The one part that doesn't make sense for me is that if the hive can't lie, how can they tell Carol joining them is in HER best interest? It's in theirs. But they know she'll starve alongside them if she joins. So either they *can* lie, or they can lie through omission/semantics.

What bumps me about that is that Zosia told Carol she's drowning and just doesn't know it and they want to save her. If the hive can't lie, how can that be true knowing that joining them would mean certain death for Carol?

The main question I have: If the hive knows they'll starve on Earth, how can they justify making Carol join as being in her best interest?

I squeed! Rhea seems so much like Carol I thought of the XF "Eve" quote: "I am her, and she is me, and we are all together." And it struck me that's a good quote for Pluribus in general 😄

Thoughts on Diabate: I think in his previous life he faced extreme abandonment, exclusion and loneliness. The hive gave him a chance to feel love, acceptance, and loyalty for the first time in his life. It's not real. But he needs it. He's immature, but I don't think he's just being a shallow perv.
