I was watching @virexialislight.bsky.social yesterday and we were discussing their Minchkins. The concept that an object of value to you having its own spirit. And it got me thinking of the only object in my art supply I have never replaced, which would be my pencil sharpner.

Continuing my fun time with watercolour pencils, I did some Cyndaquil and Quilava.
I feel I'm getting a little closer to the Sugimori style with this pair, still chickening out and not leaving enough bright white space in the highlights.

The charmeleon is a lesson not to do colour work in a room with dim yellow lighting. This is why my usual art set up is next to a window.

This was my Christmas present to wifey, her favourite mario characters being the Boo ghosts.
So I hand made her polymer clay figures of a Boo Ghost and her Chain Chompy Bois.
I tried to buy the chains, but gave up and made those by hand as well.
