Jon Buller: Sailing Alone
Nineteen of Mr. Buller’s original pencil-&-ink artworks and two egg tempera paintings are featured in the museum’s upstairs gallery. The drawings are from Mr. Buller 's new graphic novel version of Joshua Socum's 'Sailing Alone Around the World'. through mid-January '26.

​On Nov. 15 the Custom House opens an exhibition of Jon Buller's original art for his cartoon novel version of Joshua Slocum's 'Sailing Alone Around the World'.
It's also a Book Launch. Jon Buller will be there with copies of his new book to sell and sign.

Working on backdrops for the upcoming classic holiday production of “The Nutcracker” by Eastern Connecticut Ballet.
'Nutcracker' production a force for good in community. Backdrops feature local landmarks like NL Harbor Lighthouse & the Custom House Maritime Museum.

Today is the NHLPA's 25th anniversary: National Historic Lighthouse Preservation Act legislation was enacted to safeguard the preservation of our nation's lighthouses. Forty-one lights have been transferred to nonprofits through the program. That's how we acquired three. We're grateful to have them.

Amistad, brought the directors of two important Amistad sites -- Kathe Hambrick, Executive Director of the New Orleans Amistad Research Center, and Dr. Georgette Grier-Key, Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Eastville Community Historical Society in Sag Harbor to see our Amistad exhibition.
