this is the actual single worst piece of graphic design Microsoft has ever forced upon my desktop
The new Microsoft Word logo, an oblong rectangle with corners shaved round till it's nearly an ellipsis. The "W" in thick sans-serif font is shoved in a corners-sanded-round blue gradient box in the lower-left corner. It's overlaid atop three blue gradient stripes ranging from robin egg blue to a deep azure. Each of these have their corners aggressively rounded so they look like ribbons. It does NOT look like a notebook or a piece of paper. Apparently it's meant to be a "W" rotated 90°.

Thinking about the surf dracula tweet because for as much as it cracks me up and describes a real problem with "prestige" television it's also beat-for-beat the structure of Madoka Magica and that is arguably even funnier.
