Don't fall for Altman's take on Ziegler's "Spectacular! Spectacular!" song and dance trying to get us all to buy his shiny new toy. LLMs have their uses, as do the blockchains that were hyped before them (tell me you didn't buy frickin' NFTs? 🤦♀️) but they are *not* what they're being sold as.

Take "Follette" by Toulouse-Lautrec. It's a study of his landlady's dog, not his most sophisticated painting by any means...
...but when you stand in front of it, you can *feel* how much he loved that dog.

Here's a snippet of a work in progress where I'm experimenting with a new rendering technique - building the shadows in one color and glazing over the whole area with its compliment. I'm pretty happy with the result, especially considering it's my first stab at this method!

Mine uses his ears as a judgement amplifier, lowering them and raking them forward as if to point them accusingly in your general direction...
