Identified a possible Arabic source for the Voynich's Sunburst Volvelle in the Kitab al-Aqalim by Abu'l-Qasim al-Iraqi (Book of the Seven Climes), a 13th century Arabic Alchemical text with its own sources in Egyptian Hieroglyphs. I don't think a single source theory can account for all the content.

Have formed a tentative theory in my head that the Voynich was copied from a template of sorts informed by Llull's combinatoric wheels. By template I mean the algorithms an wheels were present when it was first copied. The crude and simplistic drawings of women seem like patient data

I'm not sure where Johannes Pantheus got this set of symbolisms, they come after his Hebrew charts and he called them Enochian, they don't match the "Enochian" script from 80 years later that Dee devised. A handful of them do match the Voynich though. I bet that the EVA character for D is actually A

Considering the amount of calf skins the author had prepared for the Voynich, I'm guessing he was using blue vitriol to treat their foot root among use medical uses.

Thinking about Vieta this morning. Read somewhere years ago that he had a basic physics of triangles, that they were the essential atom. Trying to recreate why he believed this and I wonder if he supposed that horror vacui a circle would degenerate into a square or triangle.
