Learning curve: attempted to bake a Trader Joe’s banana loaf cake in my air fryer (with no instructions for air frying on the box).
For a disaster, it’s delicious! (Note to self: Next time, add pecans, fill the cake pan only HALF full, and fill silicone muffin molds with the remaining batter!)

My apartment is too small for a tree. And I don’t put up ornaments every year. This year I felt the need for my version of some festive holiday decorations. A few of these ornaments are not in great shape, but are irreplaceable.

As a gay senior citizen, I find the best way to assuage fears of- and work up the courage to stand up and fight- the coming political hellscape, is working on a detailed craft project. Only 82 cross stitch lines to go.
