Aye my Gfather (Royal Artillery)never mentioned it and I only learned the story later. He bought a series of books after the war that documented the war in pictures I guess he wanted the memory in print rather than his head .. the Concentration camp part is harrowing.

I think the best thing we can do is hunker down and keep our fingers crossed .. in the meantime this migraine isn’t going away so I’m spending the day with a good book and my beloved kitty !!

I early retired to spend more time on Ultra Marathons just keeping our heads down .. I don’t think about it when I’m out on the coast paths near where I live 😀
